This Privacy Policy explains how Favor LLC (“Favvor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Favvor mobile application and our website (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect details such as your name, phone number, and email address.
- Favor content. The requests (“favvors”) you post, including descriptions, any compensation you offer, and the messages you exchange with other users.
- Location information. With your permission, we use your approximate location to show nearby favvors and to help match you with people close by. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as device type, app version, and interactions with the Services, used to operate and improve the product. If you allow analytics, this includes pages or app screens viewed, feature interactions, general acquisition information, and pseudonymous device and account identifiers. We do not send favor descriptions, messages, contacts, precise coordinates, phone numbers, or email addresses to analytics.
Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 and Firebase Analytics to understand how people find and use Favvor. Google processes this information as our service provider. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. Learn more about Google’s privacy practices .
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To connect people posting favvors with people who can help.
- To communicate with you about your account and activity.
- To keep the community safe and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services: with other users as part of the favor process (for example, your display name and the content of a favvor you post), with service providers who help us operate the platform (including Google when you allow analytics), and when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Event-level analytics data is retained according to our GA4 property settings, generally for up to 14 months; aggregate reports may remain after event-level data expires.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update your account information within the app, manage location permissions in your device settings, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Website visitors can change analytics consent using “Analytics choices” in the footer. App users can change it from Profile → Account → Analytics. Analytics is off until you make a choice. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Children’s privacy
Favvor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
